SUMMARY
This residential project was heavily based around client relations and a thorough understanding of the site. Multiple site visits including drone videography and photography was required to capture the property and its surroundings to ensure a detailed site analysis. It was my responsibility to model the existing buildings from a point cloud, document the demolition phase, draft a site plan and propose a layout for the new construction phase of the relocated house, barn and new shearers quarters. With an evolving scope, it was essential to manage client demands whilst issuing appropriately revised mood and material boards, drawing packages and schedules taking into account elements onsite that would be repurposed. Responding to changes or requests in a professional and accommodating manner was a key aspect of my role, ultimately enhancing my skills in both business and client relations.
This is an ongoing project with the intention of creating a ranch style retreat as well as a family home which is why limited information can be shared at this point in time. I am grateful to have been a part of such an interesting proposal directly dealing with ambitious and creative clients.
