SUMMARY

Designing this residence within challenging site constraints resulted in design collaboration and problem solving that took inspiration from the surrounding area and natural slope. Utilising the slope to our advantage, natural light and beautiful vistas across the landscape were optimised through creating a terraced feel that steps down the cliff giving purpose to each level for the unique needs of the client. Maximum activation of the shared recreation area is achieved by designing an indoor/outdoor pool and games level to encouraging a sense of family whilst connecting their home directly to its natural setting.
